Exec: Unipro sees capex at around 13 bln rbl in 2021

MOSCOW, Mar 4 (PRIME) -- Russian power producer Unipro expects capital expenditures at around 13 billion rubles in 2021, Ulf Backmeyer, deputy CEO for economy and finances, said Thursday during a conference call.

“As for the current capital expenditures, nothing has changed – this is about 5 billion a year... In fact, two indicators need to be added to this in 2021. One is the capex for Bereza (Berezovskaya GRES) ... 4 billion (rubles) for this year. And part of the capex should be spent on ... modernization, this is the same amount,” he said.

In 2020, the company’s capital expenditures fell 29.6% to 10 billion rubles.
